Scrapbook also includes newspaper clippings and magazine articles on his father Fred W. Goble of Woodstock, Ont. and his world champion milk producing cow, also dairy cattle, fruit and vegetable growers, and other agricultural organizations. Also includes 2 col. photos (front and back) of medal engraved "Championship 1st prize presented by Geo Sleeman Esq. to F.W. Goble for O.A.C. athletic sports 1899"

Harold W. Goble was born at Woodstock and graduated from O.A.C. in 1931. After graduation, he was Assistant Agricultural Reprsentative in Bruce County for 1 year then went to Iowa State College where he obtained his Master of Science degree. He then joined the staff of the Entomology Department of the O.A.C. in 1935. In 1948, Goble was appointed Provincial Entomologist for Ontario.
